Redfin, the online real estate service asked Mountain House Architect and a couple of others to assist them in creating a new online article about VAULTED CEILINGS. Our company refers to these as VOLUME CEILINGS, but the intent is the same.
Above is just one example of one of the mountain houses designed by Mountain House Architect, illustrating the live-giving 2 story volume, increased light and upward pointing light fixtures that provide a softer and more diffuse quality of interior light at nighttime.
And of course, having taller ceilings allows us to design giant window walls that allow you to see your great mountain views (as above).
